Before you buy
How do I show my own number when I call?
Verify your own number after your first top-up, then choose it as your caller ID.
Calls show a QuikRing number unless you choose another caller ID. On routes that support it, the person you call sees your verified number. If a route can't show it, the dialer tells you when the call starts that a QuikRing number is shown instead.
A number you rent from QuikRing can be used as your caller ID straight away. A personal account can verify one number of its own. The owner or an admin of a team that has bought a package can verify up to ten.
- 01Add credit once. Verifying a caller ID needs a first top-up and a verified email address.
- 02In the dialer, open the Caller ID menu and choose to use your own number.
- 03Enter your number and confirm the code we send to it by text message, WhatsApp or a voice call, depending on what is available for your number.
- 04Choose that number before you call. A landline gets its code by voice call, where that is available. VoIP, toll-free and premium numbers can't be verified.
