An online dialer that calls real phone numbers

QuikRing rings the actual phone on the other end: a mobile, a landline or a toll-free number. The person you call needs no app, no account and no internet connection, and sees an ordinary incoming call.

Calls reach ⁨220⁩ destinations. After your first top-up you can verify your own mobile number, so it shows as your caller ID on the routes that support it.

Web phone, browser-based phone and softphone: the difference

Web phone

A phone you use on a web page: you open the site, dial and talk. QuikRing is a web phone, so there is nothing to install or keep updated.

Browser-based phone

The same idea, named by where it runs. The browser itself carries your voice, using the microphone and the internet connection you already have.

Softphone

A calling program you install on a computer or phone. It needs setup and updates; a web phone needs only a browser tab.

Call a phone from your computer, tablet or phone

QuikRing runs in the current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook computers, on iPad and Android tablets, and on iPhone and Android phones. All you need is a microphone and an internet connection; a headset gives the clearest sound.

What a browser phone cannot do

  • It needs an internet connection. On a weak one the sound can break up, and without one there is no call.
  • QuikRing cannot place emergency calls such as 911, 112 or 999; for an emergency use a mobile or landline phone.
  • Incoming calls need a number of your own, which you can rent for the US or Canada. Rented numbers receive text messages; QuikRing does not send them.
  • Some work laptops block the microphone. If yours does, allow it in the browser or ask your IT team.

If the call does not connect

  • The microphone is blocked: click the lock beside the address, set Microphone to Allow and reload the page.
  • You hear nothing: check the output device and the volume, and test your speakers with the microphone and speaker test.
  • The sound is choppy: close other tabs and downloads or move closer to the router, then run the connection test.
  • The number does not ring: check the country code and the digits, since some numbers cannot be reached from abroad.
  • The free minute does not appear: it applies only to the destinations listed on this page, so a call anywhere else is paid at the price shown before you dial.
