Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 β Last updated: July 16, 2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. QuikRing uses very few of them β only what's needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure.
Cookies we use
- Session/auth cookie β a signed, HTTP-only cookie that keeps you logged in between page loads. Required for the app to work; removed when you log out.
- CSRF protection cookie β set alongside the session cookie to prevent cross-site request forgery on account actions.
- Human-verification cookie (Cloudflare Turnstile) β set briefly during signup to confirm you're not a bot. Not used for tracking or advertising.
Third-party cookies
If you pay with Paddle, Paddle's hosted checkout may set its own cookies while you're on their payment page β those are governed by Paddle's own cookie policy, not this one. We don't embed any advertising or analytics trackers.
Your cookie choice
On your first visit, we ask whether to allow only essential cookies or accept all. Essential cookies (session, CSRF, human verification) are always active either way, since the app can't function without them. We don't currently set any optional/analytics cookies, so both choices behave the same today β but if we add optional cookies in the future, only "Accept All" will enable them. You can change your choice anytime by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.
Managing cookies
Because our cookies are strictly functional, blocking them in your browser will likely break the ability to stay logged in or complete signup. You can still clear or block cookies through your browser's settings at any time.
Changes to this policy
If the cookies we use change, we'll update this page and its "Last updated" date.
