Avoid Vodafone Germany roaming fees
GermanyVodafone Germany's published Welt 1 roaming rate is €2.73 per minute for calls home, rising to €5.48/min on cruise ships and in its priciest Welt 2 tier. A 10-minute call from most non-EU countries costs nearly €30.
How Vodafone Germany charges for roaming
Vodafone splits non-EU roaming into tiers: Europe-1 countries (Switzerland, Andorra) cost €1.09/min, most of the rest of the world ("Welt 1") reaches €2.73/min, and a smaller "Welt 2" list plus maritime and in-flight networks hits €5.48/min. Inside the EU, "roam like at home" rules mean calls cost your normal domestic rate.
