Can I get my own phone number?

From Numbers in your dashboard, you can rent a US or Canada phone number, with no documents needed. Show it as your caller ID when you call, receive calls to it in your browser, or forward them to another phone.

The fee comes out of your prepaid balance every 30 days, with no separate subscription or invoice. If your balance can't cover it, the number is paused until you top up and reactivate it. A paused number is released if it is not reactivated in time. You can try to rent it again from Numbers, but it may no longer be available.

You can cancel a number at any time. Cancelling releases it right away, and the rest of the 30 days you've paid for isn't refunded. You can rent it again later if it's still available.

If you miss a call, the caller can leave a voicemail. It is transcribed automatically, and you can read and play it under Messages in your dashboard. You get an email when one arrives, and voicemail is free.

A rented number also receives text messages, text only and with no pictures. They show under Messages, and we email them to you unless you turn that off. Texts are included in the number's price with no per-message charge, you can delete one at any time, and they are kept for 90 days. QuikRing does not send text messages. Some services do not send verification codes to virtual numbers, so a code from a particular service may not arrive.
