Avoid Orange Polska roaming fees
PolandOrange Polska's published roaming rate ranges from 4.94 zł to 8.07 zł per minute depending on the zone. A 15-minute call from the US costs nearly 79 zł.
How Orange Polska charges for roaming
Orange Polska splits non-EU roaming into four zones: Strefa 2 (nearby Europe, e.g. Switzerland, UK) is 4.94 zł/min, Strefa 3 (USA, Canada) is 5.24 zł/min, Strefa 4 (Asia, Africa) is 6.05 zł/min, and Strefa 5 (everywhere else, plus satellite and ships) is 8.07 zł/min. Inside the EU, "roam like at home" rules mean calls cost your normal domestic rate.
