How to Make Phone Calls with Holafly eSIM
Holafly is famous for unlimited travel data plans across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Because Holafly plans either lack outgoing phone minutes or restrict calls to a generic Austrian prefix, travelers use QuikRing to dial domestic numbers in their destination country or call back home.

Why Holafly doesn't include calls
The Limitation
Holafly provides unlimited data, but European eSIMs only include a restricted Austrian (+43) receiving number with very limited outgoing capability, while non-European plans are 100% data-only.
Why providers do this
Holafly focuses on high-bandwidth unlimited data roaming agreements rather than local carrier voice termination.
Step-by-step calling guide
Turn on your Holafly eSIM data roaming, keep your primary cellular voice line turned off to prevent daily pass charges, launch QuikRing in Safari or Chrome, and place your call.
Data consumption & call cost
A voice call uses far less data than video or streaming. How much depends on the call, so check your data balance after a short first call.
Pay only for actual minutes dialed with zero monthly subscriptions.
